Stroud District Council are the latest organisation to demonstrate their commitment to safety and compliance management by becoming founding corporate members of the Association of Safety & Compliance Professionals (ASCP).
The Association of Safety & Compliance Professionals (ASCP) is a membership organisation established to support safety and compliance professionals within the social housing and facilities management sectors and bring about positive change in the industry, encompassing the AGSM and the AESM. Taking up corporate membership shows the level of importance that Stroud District Council place on safety and compliance at an organisational level, and their involvement in the ASCP will most certainly have a positive influence in association activities as well as the sector going forward. As one of the founding corporate members of the ASCP, Stroud will benefit from resources, training, events and networking opportunities that will support the development of staff responsible for safety and compliance within the organisation.
Claire Heyes, CEO of the ASCP said ‘We are extremely pleased to welcome Stroud District Council to the Association of Safety & Compliance Professionals. They have already demonstrated a progressive approach to safety and compliance, and taking up ASCP corporate membership certainly supports this. As the voice for safety and compliance in the sector, the ASCP will undoubtedly benefit from Stroud’s involvement.’
