Lee Carter

Lee has over 25 years’ experience in the gas industry. He started his career with British Gas and worked as an engineer until 1998 before joining a local authority where he was responsible for managing external gas contractors.

In 2001 Lee joined the gas registration body at CORGI and continued to work with them through the transfer to Gas Safe Register up until 2010. During his time with the registration body Lee gained experience working in various aspects of the business which included carrying out work inspection, gas management audits, account management, incident investigation, expert witness and gas safety seminars.

Lee is a qualified auditor and has a wealth of experience in business systems designed to achieve safe gas work. Lee joined CORGI Technical Services after working for a large social landlord where he managed internal gas teams and external contractors to achieving gas safety compliance.
