This seminar is an essential step in educating residents in best practice.

Who is it suitable for?
This residential seminar is ideal for residents who wish to participate and have a greater understanding of the responsibilities of the Duty Holder. The course will address legislation requirements on essential safety of gas, electric, fire, asbestos, legionella and lifts, as well as when and why it is necessary to carry out maintenance, servicing and safety inspections. What type of documentation they should receive and what levels of service should be provided? Residents will be able to use their voice to express safety issues within their environment, suggest improvements and have a sense of ownership.

What will the outcomes be?
Residents will become familiar with the core safety responsibilities in residential accommodations. They will feel empowered to respond and report matters of safety to the Duty Holder, providing a thread of reliable information which can be recorded, listened to and acted upon.
