Gas Safety Management Conference 2014
The Gas Safety Management Conference 2014 took place on Tuesday 29th April and Wednesday 30th April and was a great success!

Conference structure, theme and topics:-
The Conference took place over two days:-
Tuesday 29th April 2014
- Morning Golf Tournament on one of the internationally recognised golf courses at The Belfry
- Work groups and discussion forums
- Half day of Conference, including the National Inter-Authority Gas Forum
- Association of Gas Safety Management Gas Safety Awards Dinner including drinks reception. The Awards were to recognise the achievements of individuals and organisations in gas safety.
Wednesday 30th April 2014
- Full day of Conference to include a central stream of keynote speakers and debates, smaller seminars and break-out sessions.
Speakers and topics included:
- a CEO from a Housing Association speaking on the impact for Boards of Directors of government initiatives on gas safety
- a follow up on CO poisoning and awareness initiatives and discussion on CO procedures
- a Court Room scenario – “when things go wrong”
- How does your organisation protect itself?
- a session on managing teams and relationships
- the National Inter-Authority Gas Forum event
- Sustainability & renewables in Social Housing
There was also an Exhibition of suppliers to the industry and other important organisations relevant to delegates.
