Over the last few months there have been several Regulatory Notices issued by the HCA to social housing providers for failure to complete their annual gas safety checks at all of their properties. Some of these landlords have had their governance ratings downgraded, with criticism of financial and management arrangements. Many of these landlords have now made significant changes to meet their statutory obligations.
We will be monitoring these Regulatory Notices and “Keeping Ahead of the HCA Regulations” will form a key topic at the Gas Safety Management Conference in April 2015, where you will be able to discuss your experiences.
