New AGSM Supplier Excellence Awards have been launched by the Association of Gas Safety Managers (AGSM) to recognise excellence, innovation and collaboration by suppliers to social housing and FM organisations.
The new Awards follow from the hugely successful AGSM Gas Safety Awards which took place in April 2015 and which recognised and celebrated the work of gas and FM managers in social housing in raising standards in gas safety. The Awards Dinner was attended by 300 people from across the sector with Awards to individuals, organisations, contractors and suppliers.
Claire Heyes, CEO of the AGSM said: “Our members are collectively responsible for providing safe, sustainable, affordable warmth for over two and a half million social housing homes and public buildings. They can only achieve this by working closely with suppliers. The creation of these new Awards will celebrate excellence, innovation and collaboration by suppliers to this sector. We know there is some excellent work being done by suppliers and we welcome the opportunity to recognise and support this with these Awards.”
Closing date for nominations: – 5pm on Thursday 17th September.
