Plant rooms must be safe places as they may be accessed by many people for a variety of different reasons.

Our Risk Assessments not only look at the plant room environment but also audit the procedures in place to manage the wider gas infrastructure on site, whether the site is a school, sheltered housing block or hospital building.

The assessment consists of an onsite audit of the gas installation, from point of entry of the gas supply to the relevant area, up to the point of consumption. We talk to the personnel on site to ensure they have a good understanding of any procedures relating to the use of the plant room or associated equipment. Part of the assessment includes an audit of the onsite procedures.

A detailed report is provided for each individual plant room setting out a description of installation, findings, health and safety issues and recommendations. Also included would be verification and reporting on service reports and paperwork issued by the servicing contractor.
