CORGI Technical Services has won the NHIC Gas Safety in Social Housing Award for its CORGI Quality Accreditation Scheme.
At an Awards lunch in London attended by key organisations from across the housing sector, Claire Heyes, CEO of CORGI Technical Services and Kathryn Bartholomew, Head of Business Planning & Events received the Award from the National Home Improvement Council.
“We are delighted to have received this Award,” said Claire. “The CORGI Quality Accreditation Scheme has become a key target for social housing providers and contractors to achieve and we are very pleased that it has received this recognition.”
The CORGI Quality Accreditation Scheme has been created to assess the quality of management systems and processes that are in place for achieving safe gas work. Designed by the experienced gas experts from CORGI Technical Services, CORGI Accreditation gives national recognition for an organisation’s continuous commitment to gas safety. It is available for social housing providers, landlords and contractors and helps them to meet the regulatory and compliance standards required by the Health & Safety Executive (HSE), Homes & Communities Agency (HCA) and the Scottish Housing Regulator.
