04.09.24 09:46 AM

The Grenfell Tower Inquiry has today published its final report, and CORGI Technical Services would like to acknowledge this significant milestone in the pursuit of justice and accountability following the devastating fire on 14th June 2017, which tragically claimed 72 lives and forever changed many others.

CORGI Technical Services recognises that today must be an immensely difficult day of conflicting emotions for the families, survivors, and all those affected by this unimaginable tragedy. Our thoughts are with them as they continue to grapple with the loss, trauma, and long-lasting impact of the disaster. The release of this report will no doubt stir painful memories, but we hope it also brings some measure of solace in the knowledge that the search for answers and accountability has been thorough.

We welcome the publication of the report—the full detail, findings, and recommendations of which we will give careful consideration before making further comment. We strongly urge all professionals in our sector to read the findings and reflect on the important lessons contained within.  The full report can be downloaded from the official inquiry website at www.grenfelltowerinquiry.org.uk.

We understand that today may be overwhelming for those directly impacted by the Grenfell tragedy. Support services remain available for anyone needing assistance, including bereavement counselling, mental health support, and other resources. More information on these services can be found on the Grenfell Tower Inquiry website or by visiting the Grenfell Wellbeing page.

We stand in solidarity with the Grenfell community and all those who have been touched by this tragedy. We pledge to continue our work in fostering a culture of safety, transparency, and accountability in the sector we serve.
