It is with great sadness that we at CORGI Technical Services learned of the suspected gas explosion and subsequent fire in Violet Close, Benwell, Newcastle yesterday. We extend our deepest sympathies to the families of those who lost their lives, those injured, and all others impacted. This tragic event has understandably left the local community devastated, and our thoughts are with them during this difficult time.
We wish to express our sincere gratitude to the emergency services for their dedication and hard work in the face of such a tragedy, as well as to all those community groups and volunteers who have offered support and shelter to the people affected.
As specialists in gas safety, we are acutely aware of the importance of understanding the causes of incidents like this. We hope that the ongoing investigation will provide much-needed clarity and help prevent future occurrences of such devastating incidents.
